Spider Plant, Chlorophytum

The Spider plant has its name adapted from spiderettes which means the leaves dangle down and form a structure like a spider web. It’s a low-maintainance plant and would make a great houseplant. Please do not remove the plant from the net pot and plant it directly in a larger pot. Do not overwater the plant.

Spider Plants are considered to bring good luck and improve health by purifying indoor air. They absorb harmful toxins resulting in cleaner indoor air. Spider Plant is also known as the “Ribbon Plant” due to its long leaves which resemble a ribbon. These plants have a distinct appearance making them a great addition to your home and office decor.

Low maintenance and easy to care makes the Spider Plant the right choice for your home and office. It should be kept in bright indirect sunlight and watered properly. In hot temperatures, it should be watered once a week. Whereas in colder temperatures, watering should be done once every 2-3 weeks.  Spider Plants should be repotted atleast once every 2 years for a healthy growth.
